Holiday cancellation insurance is one of the most commonly thought of benefits to travel insurance. Its something that can happen for various reasons, both in and out side of our own control,

Cancellation Reasons:

• You die, become seriously ill or get injured.
• A relative, business associate, a person you have booked to travel with or a relative or friend living abroad who you plan to stay with, dies, becomes seriously ill or gets injured.
• You are made redundant, as long as you are entitled to payment under the current redundancy payments law and, at the time of booking your trip, you had no reason to believe you would be made redundant.
• The police need you to stay in your home country after a fire, storm, flood or burglary at your home or place of business within 48 hours before the date you planned to leave.
• Closure of air space directly attributed to a volcanic eruption (Only applies to Superior policies).
